Mark Bibro, President
  Mr. Bibro has been a tireless leader of EECM for years. A graduate of Villanova University with a B.A. in Political Science, Mr. Bibro recently joined the Birmingham Foundation as Executive Director.  Prior to this position, Mr. Bibro was General Manager of Riverwalk Corporate Center.  In addition to his Presidency of EECM, Mr. Bibro serves as President of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks and Friends of the Riverfront and is on the Board of St. Vincent DePaul Society and South Hills Interfaith Ministries.

Phil Hallen , Vice-President
 

Mr. Hallen has been a member of EECM’s Board since 2005. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and Yale University. Mr. Hallen was President of the Maurice Falk Fund of Pittsburgh for 38 years, until his retirement in 2001. At that time, he was named President Emeritus. Mr. Hallen currently holds academic appointments at both the Graduate School of Public Health and School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh.

Walter B. Fowler , Treasurer
 

Mr. Fowler joined the Board of EECM in 2006. He is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a BA in Economics, and has an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in Accounting and Finance. Currently Mr. Fowler is Vice-President of Finance and Administration at Chatham College.

Rita Pollock, Secretary
 

For over 30 years, Ms. Pollock has been a driving force for program development, management, and evaluation in Pittsburgh’s nonprofit world. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of EECM since 2005. After receiving a B.S. in Government from Simmons College and an M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Pittsburgh, she has been involved with many local agencies across Pittsburgh.

Penina Kessler Lieber, Solicitor
 

Ms. Lieber has served as Solicitor to EECM since 2005. As an attorney with the Pittsburgh office of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, she practices exclusively in the area of nonprofit and tax-exempt law, representing organizations in matters ranging from start-up and tax qualification to complex litigation before state and federal tax authorities and the courts. In addition, she is Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she teaches courses in nonprofit and tax-exempt law.

Maureen Collins , President, Council of Congregations
 

Ms. Collins, who was born in New Zealand and has lived in the US for 30 years, serves on the EECM Board of Directors. She is currently the President of the Council of Congregations, the governing body of EECM that is made up of representatives from each of the more than 40 member congregations. She has been a member of Sacred Heart Parish for twenty years and was a founding member of the Development Committee at Sacred Heart Elementary School that raised funds for an endowment/ tuition assistance fund.  In addition, Ms. Collins worked with the Capuchin Franciscan Friars of the Province of St. Augustine in their vocation and development offices.  She also currently serves as a founding board member and secretary of the Frick Park Clay Court Tennis Club.

Eric S. Davis, Esq.
 

Mr. Davis joined the EECM Board of Directors in 2007.  He holds a B.S. in Hotel Restaurant Management from Penn State, and M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is currently a Managing Partner at Fried & Davis, LLC and the President of ePowerApps.com, Inc., an internet-oriented consulting and e-business development firm.  Mr. Davis is also a Partner of Procopio & Associates, providing consulting and fundraising assistance to non-profit organizations.

Carla E. Frost
 

After several years of close association with EECM, Ms. Frost joined the Board in 2007.  She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh an currently serves as the Vice President/Business Banking Officer of National City.  Ms. Frost has served on the Board of Directors of more than 15 non-profit organizations.

Joan Millar
 

Mrs. Millar joined EECM’s Board of Directors in 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Speech from Kalamazoo College and a Master of Liberal Arts in Radio Speech from the University of Wisconsin. Her working life was spent as a secondary school teacher, first in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and then in a suburb of Chicago. Mrs. Millar has been an active member of EECM since she and her husband moved to Pittsburgh in 1982.

The Rev. Dr. Ronald Peters
 

Dr. Peters joined the EECM Board of Directors in 2007.  He holds a B.A. from Southern University, a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  Dr. Peters is the Henry L. Hillman Associate Professor of Urban Ministry and the Director of the Metro Urban Institute at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  Prior to joining the faculty of the Seminary, Dr. Peters served as a pastor for more than eighteen years.

Steven Reinsel, Esq.
 

Mr. Reinsel joined the Board in 2007.  He holds a B.A. in International Relations and Philosophy from Lehigh University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.  Mr. Reinsel is a partner with Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, LLC and also provides pro bono legal services for several Pittsburgh charities.  His extensive list of activities includes the Fund for the Advancement of Minorities Through Education (FAME), Venture Outdoors, Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc. and the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP).

Emily J. Rosenthal
 

Ms. Rosenthal joined the EECM Board of Directors in 2006. She holds a B.A. in Geography from Mt. Holyoke College and an M.A. in History from Carnegie Mellon University. After several years of working with various organizations in the capacities of research director and evaluation manager, she has become a major influence in Pittsburgh nonprofit work.

Elliott Oshry
 

Mr. Oshry joined the EECM Board in 2008.  He has been a fund raising consultant since 1974 when he joined Ketchum, Inc., following a career in corporate public relations and newspaper publishing.  Today he is Executive Counsel to Ketchum, in addition to managing a private consulting practice.

Areas of primary concentration in the counsel provided by Elliott are strategic development planning, volunteer training, leadership workshops and retreats, and capital campaign management.  He works with development professionals and volunteers, senior administrators, and nonprofit trustees.
