EECM reaches out to people of all ages and circumstances in life. To respond to their particular needs, we offer a wide range of programs in the areas of Hunger Services, Housing Services, and Children & Youth Services. We continue to work at improving and expanding our services, as well as developing new, Targeted Services to  meet the changing needs of our community.

Each of these programs and services provides much-needed assistance for individuals and families throughout the East End community, helping people through some of the most difficult times they’ll ever experience.

Last year alone:

The Soup Kitchen served 21,584 lunches.
The Food Pantry provided 412 households with emergency groceries and helpful information each month.
Meals on Wheels provided 25,239 meals to homebound and/or elderly individuals.
The Men’s Emergency Shelter provided 9,854 nights of shelter to 465 individuals.
Bridge Housing served 20 homeless men making the transition from emergency shelters to independent living.
PennFree Housing served 36 adults who were recovering from substance abuse; 6 of these had children.
Safe Haven assisted eight chronically homeless, mentally ill men, providing housing and other support.
The Orr Compassionate Care Center provided 93 men and women with nonmedical respite care totaling 2,952 nights.
The Kidz E-Fest festival was attended by approximately 1,100 community residents.

After-School Programs were attended by over 800 at-risk elementary, middle, and high school students.
