East End Cooperative Ministry could not operate without the help of volunteers in every service and program we provide. Every day, we rely upon selfless volunteers who give their time, their energy, and their talents to help their neighbors.

There are as many opportunities for volunteers as there are willing hands and kind hearts. Every job is vital in its own way.

Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Preparing and delivering Meals on Wheels to elderly or homebound individuals who are unable to prepare meals for themselves.

Preparing and serving hot meals to people who would go hungry if not for the Soup Kitchen or Men’s Emergency Shelter.

Interviewing individuals and families and assisting them in receiving emergency groceries.

Providing a friendly, comfortable environment for the homeless and other community members who visit the Drop-In Center.

The Volunteer Opportunities page lists more ways you can help. It also explains the various jobs and their duties. One thing is certain: every job matters!
