BIG-HEARTED SACRED HEART STUDENTS PRESENT BIG CHECK TO EECM

EECM got a big boost from some little people in Shadyside this Wednesday. EECM CEO Carole Bailey was generously presented with a $7,695 check from Sacred Heart Elementary K-4 students.

Not even the kids’ teachers and parents expected so much money to be raised through the school’s “Read-a-thon.” The students raised money for their school and for EECM by getting sponsors for hours of reading time.

The kids wanted EECM to benefit because of our skyrocketing demand for food and meals during the pandemic. CEO Carole Bailey thanked the Sacred Heart students, their parents, teachers, and all associated with the school and parish.

Sacred Heart Parish is a long time member congregation and community partner of EECM.
