Who We Are
East End Cooperative Ministry changes the lives of people facing the impacts of poverty.
Whether offering food assistance to those who are experiencing food insecurity, working alongside those experiencing housing insecurity and barriers to employment, or reaching out to young people to help them work toward a brighter future,
EECM is always here.

Welcome to East End Cooperative Ministry.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization, our mission, and the communities we are privileged to serve. Whether you are a donor, volunteer, community partner, congregational member, advocate, or someone seeking support, I am grateful that you have chosen to connect with EECM.
For more than five decades, East End Cooperative Ministry has stood alongside individuals and families facing the challenges of poverty, hunger, housing instability, unemployment, and recovery. Our work is rooted in a simple yet powerful belief: every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and the support necessary to thrive.
As President and CEO, I am honored to lead an organization that is committed not only to meeting immediate needs, but also to creating pathways toward lasting transformation. At EECM, we understand that real change happens when we move beyond addressing symptoms and focus on creating opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen families, and build healthier communities.
My leadership philosophy is grounded in transformational leadership. I believe that organizations are most effective when they inspire others through vision, collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to purpose. This approach guides how we serve our community, engage our stakeholders, and invest in the future of EECM.
Today, our priorities are clear. We are focused on strengthening food security, expanding housing stability and recovery support services, enhancing workforce development opportunities, investing in children and youth, and building a financially sustainable organization capable of serving future generations. Equally important, we are committed to strengthening our organizational infrastructure, increasing transparency, and ensuring that every investment entrusted to EECM creates meaningful and measurable impact.
I believe that strong organizations are built on trust. That is why we remain committed to open communication, responsible stewardship, and authentic partnerships with our donors, volunteers, community leaders, congregations, foundations, corporations, and public partners. Your support allows us to continue changing lives every day, and we do not take that responsibility lightly.
As we look toward the future, I am excited about the opportunities ahead. Together, we are building an EECM that is stronger, more innovative, more sustainable, and more responsive to the evolving needs of our community. The challenges facing our neighbors are significant, but so is our collective capacity to create meaningful change.
I invite you to join us on this journey. Whether through giving, volunteering, advocacy, partnership, or simply sharing our story, your involvement helps make transformation possible.
Thank you for believing in our mission and for being part of the EECM family. Together, we are creating opportunities, restoring hope, and transforming lives.
Thank you!

Housing & Employment Services
Housing & Employment Services works alongside individuals and families to help them build strong foundations - meeting housing needs first so they can become stable and then EECM works to move them to higher levels of self-fulfillment through case management and employment services.
